Nina’s collages are made from used and expired NYC subway tickets. Her mosaic collages depict the city’s landmarks, architecture, portraits and animals. Each handmade artwork is one-of-a-kind, yet all retain the iconic color palette and texture of the NYC MetroCard.
Water Towers
An Homage to New York City
Nina’s latest recycle art project is an ongoing series of custom designed water tower sculptures. These precisely machined sculptures come in brass and stainless steel and incorporate a common grocery store waste material for the colored water tower reservoir.
